Members, if you are experiencing financial problems or you are
having difficulties in maintaining your loan repayments, please
contact the Credit Union, Credit Control Department as soon as possible.
You can be assured you will receive a sympathetic hearing from our
qualified staff.
The worst thing you can do is ignore the problem, as this could eventually
lead to legal action being taken against you. If for any reason you
are going away for a period of time or you are out of work, please contact us
as soon as possible so that we can discuss and reach a mutually
acceptable agreement.
The Credit Union would encourage all members not to ignore any financial
difficulties that you may be experiencing. We are here to help. Dundrum
Credit Union put people first not profit.

Deposit Protection Scheme
The Deposit Protection Scheme is a scheme that can provide compensation to depositors if a credit institution is forced to go out of business. It covers deposits held with banks, building societies and credit unions.
The Deposit Protection Scheme covers:
- current accounts
- demand deposit accounts
- term deposit accounts
- share accounts and deposit accounts with building societies
- share accounts and deposit account with Credit Unions
The maximum amount you can get under the scheme is €100,000 for each bank, building society or credit union account you hold.
