HAITI EARTHQUAKE- RELIEF FUND

Dundrum Credit Union has set up a fund to aid families who find themselves in difficult circumstances as a result of the recent earthquake.

Members are invited to contribute to the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund.

You can contribute to the Fund in any of our offices or online by EFT to:

Dundrum Credit Union would like to thank all the people who contributed to the Flood Relief Fund. The grand total of €1,617 was donated and this amount has been forwarded to the Irish Red Cross on your behalf.

Credit Union School Quiz 2010 - 1st Round Results

It's that time of year again when the Credit Union hold it's annual school quiz.. The quiz was held in, Taney Parish Hall on Saturday 30th January. Once again we had a fantastic turn out with a total of 27 teams entering this year. The winners and runner-ups this year were, Divine Word, Holy Cross & St. Attracta's. Congratulations and thank you to all teams for taking part as we could not hold the quiz without your continued attendance every year.

CAR DRAW RESULTS - JANUARY 2010

Pictured below is James Doyle with his new Volkswagen Polo Tredline. James was the lucky winner in our January 2010 car draw. We also had 3 Cash Prize Winners this month.

School Saving Scheme 2009/2010

Dundrum Credit Union's School Saving Scheme is a fantastic success. After much hard work over the past year, almost all of the schools in our locality are members of this saving scheme. This scheme teaches your children from a very early age to get into the habit of saving on a regular basis. It is a great incentive when at the end of each month they can see how their savings have grown.

We also hold a monthly raffle for each school and any child who has saved during that month is included in the draw. The prize every month is a family cinema pass to, Movies at Dundrum.

The school themselves also receive a financial contribution every year they are in the scheme. These monies go towards sports equipment, white boards or whatever the school deems necessary at the time.

If your school is not already belonging to this School Saving Scheme and you would like to be, please contact Pauline on 01-299 0410 and let your children also avail of this lifetime savings habit, the school will also benefit greatly with the yearly financial contribution.
